Join us on Sept. 21 for a legal clinic with representatives from Lawyers for Reporters Canada!

 

Want advice for interacting with law enforcement? Wondering if the threat of a defamation suit has merit? Worried about privacy issues? Lawyers Molly Krishtalka (Quebec and Ontario), Kaley Pulfer (British Columbia and Ontario) and Nathan Sgrazzutti (Saskatchewan) will answer your burning legal questions related to your journalistic work.

 

Unlike other Inside Scoop sessions, this one will exclusively feature questions from attendees. Questions submitted in advance upon registration or via email will be prioritized. Live questions from the audience may be answered if time permits.

 

Lawyers for Reporters Canada is an initiative of the CAJ, the University of King’s College, and the Canadian Media Lawyers Association (CMLA) that provides pro bono legal consultations of up to one hour for eligible journalists and newsrooms.
